Designed especially for breastfeeding mothers by Dr Lynn Jones a Principal Lecturer in Furniture Design. After extensive research and development the Breastfeeding Chair finally came into being.
"I conducted research that collects evidence of the many issues surrounding women who breastfeed. I have interviewed, drawn, photographed and video taped women while they breastfeed.Further I have used this evidence to determine the ergonomic, aesthetic, social, economic and psychological requirements for a chair in which to breastfeed.
The chair was designed to satisfy the criteria described and ultimately to offer somewhere comfortable to breastfeed in the home, at work or in an array of public places, such as schools, clinics or cafes."
