Delivery Times
We offer a full mail-order service for the nappies, toys and furniture
you will find listed in these pages. All of our nappies are kept in
stock and will generally be sent to you within 48 hours. Occasionally
during busy periods, we will have to re-order from our suppliers, but
we will let you know if this is the case.
Certain more bulky items such as nursery furniture and some toys may
be ordered from the manufacturers as orders are placed. Consequently,
these special order items will take approximately 14 days to deliver
to you.
Delivery Charges
Small orders under £20 in value cost just £2.95 for
delivery. Larger orders cost £4.95, except a few special items
such as the Kensington Breastfeeding chair which is £19.95 delivery
cost due to the size of the box it comes in.
Postage charges are for the whole order, regardless of the number
of boxes.
Note: A few heavy items will result in a delivery
supplement. For example, the delivery cost for any quantity of nappy
wipes and nappy freshener is £4.95, the small order rate of £2.95
is not available.
Priority Delivery
If you would like a price for priority delivery (next day, before
12:00, Special Delivery, etc.), please contact
us for a quotation. The price will depend on the destination, the
weight of your parcel and the service required.
UK Deliveries and Postcodes
Please be very careful when entering your postcode. For orders sent
with Royal Mail, if the parcel is lost and your postcode is incorrect,
Royal Mail will not pay compensation. For other couriers, if your postcode
is incorrect, your delivery can be delayed and they may make a surcharge.
Offshore Islands
Deliveries to Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and other
offshore islands over 2.0 kg will be subject to a surcharge.
Scottish Highlands
Heavier orders (over 2.0 kg) sent to Scottish Highlands are likely
to carry an extra charge. This applies to the following postcodes: IV,
HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE
International Delivery
We are happy to quote for international delivery. We have sent toys
and nappies to Europe, USA, even Australia! Just contact
us with a list of what you want sent and we will let you know the
delivery charge.
Free Delivery
For customers near to Monmouth where we now have an office, we can
offer free delivery of your toys, furniture or nappies subject to a
minimum order value of £20. You may also find certain products
offered as free delivery in our website regardless of where you live.
Further Terms and Conditions
Our UK deliveries are made by either Royal Mail or Courier.
If you are not in whan a delivery is attempted, a card will be left
and it is your responsibility to arrange re-delivery or collection from
either Royal Mail's sorting office or the courier depot. If delivery
is not arranged within the timescale indicated (5 days for DHL) the
parcel will be returned to us. If you choose to cancel your order at
this time, we will refund the cost of your order less courier charges.
If we can establish that Royal Mail or the Courier did not make a reasonable
attempt to deliver to you a full refund will be given. International
deliveries are made by a variety of couriers and local delivery and
returns policy will vary. If an item is returned to us due to you not
accepting delivery, or being away when delivery is attempted and you
ask us to re-deliver the order an additional delivery charge will be
payable.
Due to high fuel costs and the London congestion charge, we subsidise
the cost of UK shipping in order to provide a value for money to our
customers. We reserve the right to deduct the cost of the shipping subsidy
from a customer's refund in cases of fraud, nuisance orders or where
customers do not contact the courier company in regard to an undelivered
parcel. We also reserve the right to reject an order or request an additional
payment if the cost of shipping will be excessively high.
